Flying L PUD Board Meeting
Monday, February 13
6:30 PMTo be held at the PUD Office
We have made some changes that happened in the Deccember Board Meeting. These changes were then Adopted in the January Board Meeting to become effect February, 2023. These include New Rates for our Water and Sewer on both Residential and Commercial. Trash and the Special Assessment Fees will remain the same. As you all know, cost in everything have gone up and we can no longer afford to absorb the cost for repairs and maintenance. After doing cost analysis with surrounding utilitly companies, our rate increases still keep us below theirs. HERE is a link to our new Rate Order that was signed into place that speaks on the new rules and regulations and fees of the PUD. Click HERE for the comparision for surrounding utility companies.
In addition, we will no longer be able to carry bills that are 30 days outstanding. When a new billing cycle comes out, if a bill is past due you will be notified. If payment is not received a notice for shut-off will be given and a $15 fee will be assessed. If service has to be disconnected and re-connected an additional $50 fee will be assigned.
Finally, the last notable change is that water conservation fees have changed to $5 per 1,000 over 10,000 gallons on Stage 4 and $10 per 1,000 over 10,000 gallons Stage 5.

We would like to welcome Steve Childers back to the PUD Board. He was nominated to take a seat on the Board at tonights meeting. He brings a great wealth of knowledge to our organization and we are excited to have him back. Steve we can't wait to see the great things that you bring.
We want to say goodbye to Ellen Sides who has decided to step down from her position on the PUD Board. She has done wonderful things for our organization and has been a valuable member of the Board and this Community. We surely will miss her and all that she brings to the table.
As a result of her resignation we now have an OPEN position on the PUD Board that needs filling. We invite people within our community to look into joining our board to help assist us with keeping our Water and Sewer System the best it can be. Please think about joining the PUD Board and if it calls to you please submit a resume to admin@flyinglpud.com. We also invite you to join our Board meeting coming up to see what it is all about.
Again, thank you Mrs. Ellen Sides for all you have done for us.
